Riding tops – stay cool and fresh during the ride
In our collection of riding tops, you will find a selection of models allowing you to choose the riding top that suits the challenges you face together with your horse. Using our eco-friendly Cool Anti-Odour ™ material in Bamboo Charcoal polyester, specially developed to have a high moisture transport and is antibacterial without chemical additives, you get a riding top that stays dry and gives a pleasant feeling throughout the ride. In addition to protection and comfort, our riding tops have a clean and a classic look to suit everyone. These riding tops can be used as a base layer during a hot summer day or as a comfortable layer closest to the body under our layers two and three that protect you from wind, rain and cold.

What is bamboo charcoal?
Our Cool Anti-Odor fabric is a material of recycled polyester embedded with nanoparticles of activated bamboo carbon. The bamboo carbon is created by heating bamboo at temperatures of 800 degrees and then the carbon is processed and mixed in with the yarn as part of the growing field of nanotechnology. Bamboo charcoal yarn has a cross section filled with various micro-holes that give it better moisture absorption and ventilation than conventional fabrics. Charcoal fabric products can absorb and spread sweat quickly, making it feel dry and comfortable without sticking to your skin. Bamboo charcoal retains the natural antibacterial properties found naturally in bamboo. Since it has no bacteria, it will keep odor free longer
making it more hygienic and healthier. Because the nanoparticles of bamboo carbon are embedded in the fabric rather than simply coated on the surface, our Cool Anti-Odor fabric is washable without reducing the efficiency of the carbon's special qualities, even after 50 washes. Due to the porous nature of bamboo charcoal, our Cool Anti-Odor fabric products not only feel dry and cool on hot days, but they are also excellent insulators against the cold thanks to the microfiber structure. Built into our Cool Anti-Odor ™ our riding tops is a UV protection equivalent to UPF 30, which protects you from overexposure to the sun's harmful UV rays prevents you from burning and reduces the risk of skin cancer. Bamboo can grow on marginal land, not suitable for agriculture or forestry. Bamboo forest plantations reach maturity in 4-6 years and can be harvested 2-3 years later; trees are usually harvested after 20 to 50 years or more. Bamboo emits 35% more oxygen than the corresponding surface of hardwood areas.

How does recycled polyester work?
Most of our products are made from polyester. As a fiber, polyester has a long list of benefits. Polyester fabrics can be made to be very durable; they dry quickly, and they wick away moisture efficiently. A polyester fiber can also be reused again and again, without impairing any of its fantastic properties. Most of our polyester garments contains recycled fibers, many are recyclable, and most are both. Production of polyester, especially recycled polyester, require less water to produce than many other fibers, and working closely with our suppliers we can ensure the production is made in a more sustainable way. One of the advantages of polyester is that it can be recycled infinitely without affecting the quality. Recycled polyester is overall one of the most environmentally friendly functional materials available and by offering recycled and recyclable products, we have come closer to our goal of maximum riding experience with minimal environmental impact.

How should I take care of my riding and competition tops?
When washing clothes made of synthetic material, it is extra important to prevent the spread of microfibers in the water by using a laundry bag. Make sure that all zippers and buttons are closed, to reduce the risk of the fabrics getting stuck during washing. A laundry bag protects clothes and fabrics from unnecessary wear and tear in the washing machine. It is also a way to limit leakage of microfiber in the washing process, which means that plastic particles do not get into lakes and seas. When you clean the bag and filter in the machine, make sure that you dry clean and throw lint in, for example, an empty plastic package that is to be recycled. Never rinse the laundry bag with water as the fibers can end up in lakes and seas. Wash at a maximum of 40 degrees with mild environmentally certified detergents and be sure to use the correct dosage. Avoid fabric softeners, in addition to being bad for the environment, it impairs the garment's ability to transport moisture and inhibits the quick - drying properties. Do not tumble dry, it wears out both the garments and the environment unnecessarily. Most synthetic garments dry quickly anyway.

An important part of a textile product's total environmental impact is related to how long the product can be used before it is worn out, how it is cared for and finally how it is taken care of when it can no longer be used for its original purpose. Choosing clothes that are durable and that are made from recycled / recyclable fibers is thus a good start. But also how you take care of your clothes as long as they are used is of crucial importance to the environment. If we can reduce our use of washing machines, it is a great benefit for the environment.

How do I find the right size for my riding top?
Sometimes it can be difficult to find the right size when you buy clothes online? Use our size guide to make sure you get the right fit on your new riding top or competition top. Our garments have an ergonomic design made to follow the body's movement pattern, this is often called "bodymapping". This means that you have full freedom of movement in all situations.
